Children’s Ministry
At HHKids, our aim is to prepare our children to be rich in Bible understanding, equipped to apply the Good News to their everyday lives, and firm in what they believe and why.
We believe our kids are the Church right now, and we honor their desire to participate in building the Kingdom from right where they are—whether that’s in leading a prayer, reading Scripture in class or worship, preparing or assisting in passing Communion, or giving them autonomy in our numerous church-wide service opportunities.
Led by our Children’s Ministers and volunteers, our kids are discipled to maturity in the faith through active involvement and Biblical refinement, without the expectation of performance or perfectionism.

Sunday Mornings
Our Bible class time is open for all ages whether you’re new to the faith, or have been part of a Body for a long time. Here, your kids will be immersed in the Word using text that covers Creation until Jesus Returns. Our classes are structured to welcome all abilities as we learn about Christ’s redemptive love through Scripture, play, and movement activities.
TIME: 9:30-10:15
Pre-school-Kingergarten Bible Class
1st – 5th Bible Class
Nursery includes 0-24 months. This is a staffed nursery where babies are able to stay throughout all of class and worship time. First nursery hour includes an interactive time of Bible story, worship, and prayer. Second hour consists of fine and gross motor play.
We also have a nursing mothers room as well.
TIME: 10:30
After Bible class, children aged pre-school to 5th grade are picked up and invited into our whole church worship. After Communion, kids ages 3yr-through Kindergarten are dismissed and invited to join us in Children’s Worship (this is not required).
Wednesday Evenings
TIME: 6:30-7:30pm
Similar to our Sunday morning Bible class time, our kids are led in topical studies on Wednesday nights. This is a time of multigenerational group learning for kids ages 3yrs to 5th grade.
Past topics include: Psalm 23, Jesus is a Friend of Mine, Fruits of the Spirit, Armor of God, Baptism Series, Books of the Bible, and more!
Staffed Nursery available for 0-24 months.
