Announcements

For the month of November, we will once again have Family Conversations at The Well on Wednesday nights.  Plan on joining us at 6:15 pm for some coffee and then participate in the discussions.
Nov 13 - Nathan Copeland
Nov 20 - Angela Cantrell

Join us November 23 for our first Men's Day at Hunter Hills.  We will gather from 1 pm until sundown at the church in the parking lot for some yard games, to include a corn hole tournament.  In addition, we are looking to have a couple of TV's set up with football.  Later in the afternoon, Randy Grissett and Justin Copeland will cook us some ribeyes, and we'll wrap up as the sun goes down.  This is for the men in your home of all ages.  So men, bring your sons, nephews, or other men that you know.  This will be a great day of fellowship, fun, and food!  A suggested donation of $10/person to cover the cost of food is appreciated.  Please RSVP and pay at this link, or call the church office to sign up so we can prepare enough food.  Hope to see you there!

Please return your AGAPE coin cans to the foyer by Sunday, November 24, before Thanksgiving.

The Prattville Community Thanksgiving Worship will be held on Sunday, November 24, at 6 pm at the Marriott Hotel in Prattville.  Make plans to join other Christians from the Prattville area in a time of worship and Thanksgiving. This event is organized by the Prattville Ministerial Alliance each year.  An offering will be taken to help with needs in the community through the Samaritan Fund.

We will not have services on Wednesday, November 27.  Please enjoy this time with your family.

December Events
Beginning in December, we will have a special time of worship centered around Advent each Sunday.

December 1 will be a Family Worship Sunday.  That evening, we will have a joint Praise and Worship Service with several Montgomery area churches.  This event will be at Vaughn Park Church of Christ and will begin at 6 pm.

Winter Wednesdays
Our annual Chili & Hymn Sing will have a new twist this year.  It will be December 4, and include Christmas focused hymns this year.  Please make plans to bring a pot of chili to share and enjoy a time of worship together.

December 11 will be "UnPlugged: Peace in an Anxious Season".

Then on December 18, we will all gather together for a Family Christmas Pajama Party.  We will have crafts for the kids, hot cocoa, and perhaps special visitor or two.

We will not have services on Wednesday, December 25.  Please enjoy the special holiday time with family.

ONGOING EVENTS

Ladies' Bible Studies meet at 8:30 and 9:30 am on Thursday Mornings.  The 9:30 am class has child care if needed.  Join weekly in the Teen Room.

Billingsley School
The food drive for Billingsley School is an ongoing effort for the remainder of the school year.  A list of the items needed for each week can be found by checking the door of the Pantry room next to the Nursery check-in or click here for ongoing needs. These items may be placed on the wooden table in the multipurpose room near the front entrance.  If you prefer to make a donation, you may do so by clicking here and designating "Snack in a Backpack" ministry.

Thank you to everyone who adopted a Christmas Food Box on Sunday.  These boxes will truly bless these families during the holidays.  Please return the boxes to the church by December 4th.  You can put them on the wooden table by the door in the Multipurpose room.  If you have any questions about any of the items on the list, please ask Donna Mock, Kim Crockett, Brooke Shands, or Jim Askew.

The Angel Tree is up in the foyer.  Please come by and select a gift from the tree.  We will need to keep a list of who has what so make sure we get you on the list if you choose an item.  Please bring your WRAPPED item to the church by December 15, (preferably before) with your Angel Tree tag taped to it.  We will be delivering these items to the school on December 19th.

We have one family who is in need of a washer and dryer.  If you have one that you are willing to part with for very cheap or free, please let Donna know so it can be arranged.

Thanks again for your generosity!  - Donna Mock
